Son Light Publications reflects my work as a writer and serves as the publishing platform for the Natural Relational Health Institute. My writing is shaped by a lifetime of spiritual, personal, and professional growth and a deep commitment to understanding relationships through a spiritual lens.

Preface
Imagine a story in which the protagonist is the unknowing heir of an unimaginably beautiful kingdom. However, she lives beneath her calling because the story’s antagonist is hell-bent on keeping her from discovering her true calling and living the life of royalty and position to which she is a rightful beneficiary.
The antagonist goes to incredible lengths to keep the protagonist from discovering her true identity and uncovering the treasure trove of gifts, talents, authorities, and powers held in reserve for the antagonist by the great King of Creation.
During the process of ascending to the protagonist’s position as a joint heir to the kingdom of Light, the enemy attempts to keep her from fully embracing her new identity through deception, lies, attacks, and condemnation. Her lack of knowledge keeps her from appropriating the authority she has been given.
As a result, she is often ineffectual and falls short of living out her inheritance’s fullness. Until Jesus, who has been working on her behalf, breaks through with the Truth of His Word, and the protagonist is able to realize her full potential by appropriating the weapons of her warfare and triumphing over the enemy.
In the end, the protagonist, empowered by the Holy Spirit, breaks through the resistance, claims her inheritance through Christ, and fulfills her calling in the Kingdom of Light.
Now…imagine the story is true.

Academic & Professional Qualifications
Dr. Walters is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Addiction Counselor (LAC) in private practice. She holds a doctorate in education from the Rawlings School of Divinity at Liberty University and various relationally-focused certifications.
In addition to her clinical practice, she frequently shares her passion for spiritual growth, relational health, and family systems with local audiences.
Dr. Walters is an avid writer and teacher who loves coming alongside others walking similar paths of transformation. Her easy writing and speaking style and her ability to speak frankly and transparently about some of life’s most difficult challenges and subjects highlight her desire to encourage and support others in their unique transformational process.
She and her husband, Paul, live in a small community just west of Indianapolis. Teresa is the proud mother of six children (one daughter and five sons), two stepsons, and nine grandchildren. She and Paul are the guardians of three dogs. Two tiny Yorkies (Marley and Gracie), one miniature Schnauzer (Manny), and a Blue Fife Canary named Maestro.
In their spare time, the couple enjoys visiting their local state parks, gardening, motor sports, and trying out new restaurants.
As people of faith, they embrace a biblical worldview and support a faith and family-first mindset. Together, they founded Chrysalis Connections, LLC in 2008. They remain dedicated to helping individuals and couples resolve conflict, heal hurts, find agreement, parent well, and save their marriages.
